So long Peter...job well done, but who will be the next National host
Peter Mansbridge has had a brilliant career at the CBC...his last news cast is on Friday and he is the host of the Canada Day events on Saturday too...

Evan Solomon (but he is pretty locked in with CTV)
But outside of my 3...who do you feel might take over on the National?

Is Wendy a contender? Rosemary Barton should also be a consideration and would get my vote.
I'm more convinced they'll go for a series of rotating hosts. To be honest, they need to skew the age back, so I'm not sure Ian H. is the shoe-in people think he might be.

They've all but officially confirmed that the National will be undergoing a major revamp in the fall, with no less than three anchors or hosts being featured in some fashion.
This being the CBC, I suggest Curly, Larry & Moe.

He shouldn't be so hard on himself, I find it hard to believe also, but there are worse places to end up than working for Fox news.
